How many New Year's resolutions have you actually kept over the years?
My guess is, like most (myself included) is not enough and possibly even none.
And why is that?
I think it’s because most of us are only asking one question: “what do I want to achieve?”
It’s easy to write “I want to lose a stone” or “I want to do 10 pull-ups” as a New Years Resolution.
We all want to improve our lives in one way or another, that’s a given.
For most of us, the challenge doesn’t lie in identifying the goal, for most of us, the challenge lies in the execution of achieving the goal.
So, before you commit to your goals in 2021, ask yourself:
Am I willing to accept the sacrifices that are required to reach my goal?
Am I ready to change and grow in order to achieve my goal?
Real goal setting is not just about the glamorous outcome, it’s about the less glamorous daily habits and small changes that ultimately lead to long term success.
